I went through the full process and it initially felt like everything was landing well.

Conversations went smoothly and people were friendly, and I had the sense that I was making progress.

Then, after things had been going extremely well, I received a rejection. It left me genuinely confused because the end didn’t feel aligned with how the process had been communicated. Even though the interactions were supportive early on, once the decision was made it became hard to get a response, which made the ending feel abrupt.
