Turing Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Negative

What stood out most for me was how heavy the pre-assignments were.

I felt like there were way too many tasks before the actual interview, and it took nearly 20 hours to solve some problems just to determine my level.

I didn’t understand the point of spending that much time on problems that wouldn’t even show up later in the role. The time investment felt out of proportion to the eventual signal they were trying to extract.

Even though the situation was difficult and ultimately didn’t lead to an offer, my overall frustration was less about technical difficulty and more about the process design and the sheer amount of work assigned ahead of time.
