After the first coding round, I got a call from HR and then scheduled the next step.

The first round had been coding-focused, but I remember it also tying into core Node and React skills. The second round was another coding question, and it went deeper into how code performs, including concerns like memory leaks and errors.

It felt like the difficulty increased as I went from general coding into more “runtime reality” topics. Even though the rounds started manageable, the later focus on performance and memory-related issues made it more demanding than I expected from a straightforward coding format.
