Turing Software Engineer interview experience

The questions weren’t framed as super hard algorithms; instead, they went after how well I understood Python internally.

What surprised me was that some topics sounded very basic on the surface, but they still expected solid explanations and clarity. Even though the overall difficulty wasn’t described as extreme, the emphasis on Python-specific concepts made it feel like a conceptual test more than a pure coding exercise. I came away feeling like I could follow along better than with typical brainteasers, but I also realized a few “small” Python ideas mattered a lot.
