After an online coding round where I shared my screen, I moved into a second round with an interviewer from a Google team.

This time the interviewer had a CSV file ready and asked me to write a simple data manipulation script.

I remember it as a fairly direct setup: the task was grounded in working with the provided data rather than trying to invent requirements on the spot. The experience felt like they wanted to see whether I could translate a basic data wrangling need into working code while staying clear and efficient.

I didn’t receive an offer from this sequence, but the flow itself felt organized and practical—coding, then a data-focused follow-up.
