I only made it through the first coding round, and it didn’t go well.

The round itself felt difficult, and I was disqualified from continuing without getting any further opportunity.

Since I didn’t reach later stages, the process was basically a fast cutoff after that initial challenge. It also made me feel like the bar required more advanced coding knowledge and skills than I had for that particular format.

Because I didn’t get past the first round, there was no offer. The biggest reflection was that the whole process felt heavily gatekept right at the start.
