After a lengthy phone screening, I was asked to travel for an onsite interview.

The onsite was run as a panel, and the difficulty landed mostly in the medium-to-hard range. I tried to push through, but I didn’t answer several questions as well as I needed to, and the gap showed in how the interview went.

I didn’t receive an offer, and I also wasn’t reimbursed for travel expenses. Looking back, the hardest part was that I had time and pressure stacked together: by the time I reached the panel, the expectations had clearly moved up, and I wasn’t able to recover from a few missed answers.
