Louisville, KYPosted Jul 2011 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My early HR contact was extremely light on traditional evaluation and leaned hard on personality and “weird” energy.

The interviewer seemed more interested in how quirky or fun I could be rather than anything about the actual craft of the work—there was no meaningful discussion of lighting, workflow, or how I’d handle the productivity side of updating online images. It felt like they were looking for flair and attitude more than demonstrated competence in the day-to-day details, and that mismatch showed up immediately.
