The process started positively: the recruiter was great and answered all my questions during the initial call.

There wasn’t anything stressful about the conversation itself, and the experience felt supportive.

The one issue that stopped me from continuing was the company’s in-office expectation—working a few days per week onsite wasn’t a fit for me. That meant I didn’t proceed further even though I’d had a good rapport with the recruiter.

It was a clean, quick stop rather than a negative interaction. My main takeaway was that even when the process and the people feel right, logistics like location requirements can be the deciding factor.
