After a recruiter call, my interview process at Thales moved through a sequence of rounds that felt fairly standard: one recruiter discussion, two technical conversations, and one behavioural interview.

None of the stages felt like a trick or a gotcha, and I didn’t run into anything that felt like a LeetCode-style coding challenge.

The whole journey felt manageable in difficulty and generally “average” in pace and expectations. The technical parts stayed grounded in what I could explain clearly rather than trying to test obscure patterns, and the behavioural portion leaned more on how I’d worked and collaborated. Overall, it was a smooth experience with a calm tone, and I left feeling like the bar was reasonable rather than unpredictable.
