Columbia, MDPosted Aug 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started by applying for a Software Engineer opening and then waiting as the recruiter matched my resume to that role and a few other relevant postings.

After that, I had a recruiter call for the usual basic information. Next came a skills test focused less on whether I had the “right” answers and more on how I approached the problems.

Once I passed, the process moved to a manager call where the questions got more specific to what the job would actually involve. The overall vibe was straightforward and structured: recruiter first, then the test, then manager-level discussion, and then a final decision after that.
