Swiggy Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Posted Dec 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I eventually received an offer for an SDE-2 role, but what really defined the experience for me was the compensation discussion that came right before it.

I had competing offers, and I used that leverage to negotiate.

When HR spoke with me, they mentioned a compensation range with a specific base salary figure and a clear ESOPs component. In the end, my offer came through at 31 LPA base with 16 LPA worth of ESOPs. The process also made it clear there were internal ranges they were willing to adjust, which matched what I’d heard about the initial range versus what I could push toward with my other discussions.

The interview parts themselves weren’t the focus of what I shared most, but the final decision felt like it followed a negotiation path
