My application for the SDE role at Swiggy started with an OA.

It was taken online first, and then I moved into a first interview round with a third-party bar-raiser.

That round was DSA-focused and done in Go/Java. I tried to rely on my general problem-solving instincts, but most of my DSA practice had been in C++, so the language shift threw me off more than I expected.

I didn’t move forward after that, and it left me with the feeling that the barrier wasn’t just the problem difficulty—it was also how comfortable I was with the exact coding environment they used.
