For the SDE-2 Backend role at Swiggy, I went through a fairly standard but intense process: an online assessment, then LLD, and then HLD.

The online assessment was something I finished by solving all the questions, and I remember thinking I’d done well—though I couldn’t recall the exact problem afterward.

After that, the interview moved into design territory with low-level design and then high-level design rounds. The experience felt serious and evaluative in the way it forces you to be thorough about system thinking, not just write code.
