My interview experience with Superhuman dragged on for well over a month, and that timing really shaped how the whole thing felt to me.

The people I interacted with were generally friendly, but the process itself was hard to take seriously because the interview formats seemed odd and the time expectations were heavy.

I ended up not getting the position, but what bothered me wasn’t the decision—it was the mismatch between how much time was asked for and the strange flow of each interview. The longer it went on, the more it felt like I was being asked to commit an outsized amount of effort to rounds that didn’t have a clear, consistent structure.

By the end, I was left with the impression that the process took itself too
