I went through multiple rounds that were pretty straightforward and aligned with what they seemed to be looking for: relevant experience.

The first call was a screening where they went over my resume, then they passed me along to the hiring manager.

After that handoff, it felt like the process stayed focused on my background and how it fit the kind of work the role required. I didn’t feel like I had to decode hidden agendas or navigate confusing steps.

I didn’t receive an offer, but it wasn’t discouraging because the process felt direct. My reflection was that the simplicity helped me stay grounded—I always knew what was happening next and why, even though the final result wasn’t there.
