My interview was conducted directly at the agent’s office, centered almost entirely on the kind of sales and customer service experience I’d already built.

The questions were focused on how I handle rejection—specifically what it’s like to be told no repeatedly before you land a sale.

It wasn’t an interview that tried to hide the goal: they wanted to see whether I could stay resilient and keep working the process even when prospects push back. I felt like the difficulty matched the role expectations—moderate and very sales-oriented rather than technical.

I didn’t receive an offer, but at least the conversations were consistent with what they were hiring for, and I could clearly see the traits they were measuring.
