I had a first-round HR call by phone, and when the signal got bad we switched to Google Meet.

The conversation was fairly conversational and focused on career background, including a quick “tell me about yourself” and discussion of my most recent work.

The most distinctive question was about how I’d use LLMs and AI to improve efficiency when I’m doing my day-to-day work. After that, the call ended without anything feeling deeply technical, but it did set the tone that they cared about modern tooling even in a more HR-style first step.
