Sony Full Stack Engineer interview experience

The interview included a rapid set of questions—about 30—covering React JS, Django, and cloud topics, and they tied many of the questions back to my projects.

We also discussed state management and authentication, which were the areas I was pressed on during the conversation. Even though the interview felt comfortable, I didn’t end up getting an offer.

In the end, the experience was positive in terms of pacing and communication, but it still came down to not being selected. I left thinking the technical depth in those front-end and backend areas was what determined the result.
