I interviewed for a Sony Software Engineer role with a difficult experience despite it being short, and it felt like the interviewer was rushed and tightly controlling the conversation.

Single 1-hour scheduled interview (completed early) — Video-on from my side; the interviewer kept video off. After a brief greeting, there was no introduction of their role and they jumped straight into questions. They frequently cut me off mid-answer, moved to the next question, and stopped me when my wording didn’t match what they expected. I couldn’t ask questions, and they summarized what they heard for a short time before ending early.
Outcome: Not selected. The interview felt procedural and fast, with little room to finish or clarify.
