JapanPosted Feb 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through multistage interviews that culminated in a research or design-style presentation, and the process felt difficult enough that I never got closure afterward.

Presentation + Q&A (research) — I presented my research and then answered questions about the topic, plus questions about myself (including why I chose the company and my strengths/weaknesses) in about an hour.
Multi-step SIE process (with presentation) — In another path via internal referral, I went through phone screenings, a code test, panel interviews, and a design presentation.
Post-presentation follow-up — After the presentation step, I didn’t hear back. Outcome: No offer; both experiences ended after the presentation stage, leaving a lingering “not selected”
