I went through a QA process where language and writing were as important as the technical portion, followed by training and operational testing.

HR round — Included essay writing and an English test.
Aptitude test — A separate aptitude assessment.
Technical round — Testing-related questions tied to the QA skillset.
Training period — After technical, I attended about 5 days of training.
Operations exam + English exam — I was expected to clear both after training. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the bottleneck was the full sequence of technical, then training, then exams.
