I had a smoother, well-organized recruiting experience where communication felt careful, even though the outcome was still a rejection.

Recruiter-led coordination — The recruiter experience stood out to me: even when the recruiting lead changed mid-cycle, I felt genuinely supported and kept informed throughout.
Pair programming as the early technical signal — In my actual interview, they moved quickly into a Zoom-based pair programming session with a senior developer. I shared my screen and even set up my own development environment while the interviewer watched and asked questions as I coded. Outcome: No offer, and my takeaway was that strong process/communication didn’t necessarily predict the final decision.
