The way my process flowed felt like it moved into deeper evaluation fairly quickly.

I started with an intro call from an engineering manager. After that, I went through the take-home assessment, and then I moved into interviews with the team lead of the hiring group and a software engineer who focused on how I reasoned through problems.

I eventually made it to the interview process before meeting the CTO. I didn’t get to the end of the process to an offer, but I did feel like the early steps were aligned around thinking and problem-solving rather than just checking boxes.
