I was contacted by the head of talent for an initial phone conversation about opportunities at the organization, then I had a video call, followed by an onsite interview and then a coding challenge.

The full process took over four weeks.

What stood out was how unorganized and slow it felt. There was frequent miscommunication between me and the recruiter before each step, and I was repeatedly promised I’d hear back, followed by delayed responses from the main recruiter.

I didn’t proceed to an offer. By the end, the constant friction made it feel like I shouldn’t have invested the time, especially because I expected more clarity and responsiveness from a startup.
