Early on, I was given a set of assessments to complete before I moved into interviews.

The work included an Excel-focused review that tested formulas and basic skills, plus a written pitch-like assignment for a potential client, and a math portion.

After turning those in, I went through a phone interview and then moved into in-person interviews. The process felt like they were filtering for both practical data work and the ability to communicate in a marketing context.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but I remember the sequence as fairly structured: test your fundamentals first, then talk to people after the assignments narrow the field.
