ScottishPower Software Engineer interview experience

The questions centered on how I handled problem solving, the kinds of decisions I’d make in different situations, and how I managed my time.

What stood out was that the interview ended with a self-assessment component. I had to rate myself, on a scale from 1 to 5, across areas like time management, communications, critical thinking, and leadership, and then justify the rating. It was a little different from a typical Q&A because it pushed me to reflect on how I actually worked rather than just talk about it.
