Scalable Capital Software Engineer interview experience

Once they finally came in, the conversation felt short and straightforward: I introduced myself, and then a handful of technical questions were asked before it wrapped up.

Everything happened in English, and it was clear that the interviewer didn’t speak German. That language mismatch made the tone feel awkward and limited the depth of the interaction.

In the end, I didn’t get an offer. What lingers is that the lateness and the communication barrier made it hard to have a real, two-way technical discussion.
