I got an email with a Codility link and a deadline that was only about a week long.

The test had two coding questions, and the goal was straightforward: get the provided tests to pass. I did, even reaching a perfect score.

Even with that 100% result, my application got rejected anyway. When I reached out to the recruiter to ask why, I didn’t get a real explanation. What stood out most was the feeling that the company didn’t meaningfully review my resume until after the assessment, meaning the same Codility test effectively went out to everyone who applied. That lack of transparency made the whole experience feel pretty deflating.
