The process started with a quick intro to my background, and then I got a coding challenge focused on optimizing a SQL query.

After that, I was asked to compare REST and GraphQL APIs and explain the pros and cons of each.

Next came a design-style question: I designed a scalable architecture for an e-commerce platform, specifically covering load balancing and database efficiency. It wrapped up with questions about how I worked with others—team dynamics, how I handled deadlines, and how adaptable I was when things changed.

Overall it felt like a balanced mix of hands-on technical work plus how I think in design and collaboration, and it was clear they wanted more than just memorized concepts.
