I started with a standard recruiter phone screening where they walked me through the internship details and the application process.

The conversation felt more like a dialogue than an interview, and it was actually informative, which put me at ease.

A few days later, I got the news that they’d chosen a different candidate because the person had more experience. I appreciated the feedback, but the turnaround meant I didn’t get to explore further rounds. It left me feeling like the process itself was respectful, even if the fit on experience just wasn’t there for me at that moment.
