SAP Concur QA Automation Engineer interview experience

They sent a link to join, and I had to write code in the language I said I was comfortable with. There were sample tests running against my code, and if everything passed, the conversation shifted toward how I could improve performance.

The interview format was very hands-on, and the focus wasn’t just making the code work—it was understanding what could be optimized after the fact.

I didn’t receive an offer. Even so, the experience felt technically legitimate because the evaluation continued beyond correctness into performance thinking.
