Rockstar Games Software Engineer interview experience

My conversations with the recruiter were good, and I felt like it was a communicative, receptive relationship where things were moving.

But the last interview with the team didn’t go smoothly. The team arrived 15 to 20 minutes late, and by then I was already anxious from wondering if something had gone wrong on my end. When they finally started, their energy felt underwhelming and uninterested, and the interview ended abruptly.

Even though earlier stages felt positive, the final round left me thinking that timing and engagement mattered more than I expected for a successful close.
