Rockstar Games Software Engineer interview experience

I went through three phases: first a phone call where we discussed my resume and why I wanted to work there, then a coding exam, and finally another follow-up phone call. After the coding part, it felt like both calls went well and I expected a decision.

Instead, they never got back to me. I reached out by email and still didn’t hear anything, and the lack of closure turned what had been a normal process into something frustrating. Even when the early rounds sounded positive, the follow-up experience made it hard to feel confident I’d been fully considered.
