Carlsbad, CAPosted Aug 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started by submitting my resume to an online posting and got a message from the lead recruiter about two weeks later.

The first step was a phone screen with the recruiter where we talked about my experience and interest in video games, and it went pretty well. Later the same day she asked me to complete an online programming assessment through Codility.

I had a weekend to prepare, and the platform seemed straightforward enough, so I took the test. It had two questions, and I had 100 minutes total. The prompts were open-ended and not overly complicated on paper, but my scores came back very low and the results didn’t explain what went wrong. Everything I submitted also worked fine when I reran my solutions
