The interview itself went well in terms of the conversations, but the bigger story for me wasn’t the technical side—it was what happened after.

I learned there wasn’t a hike concept in their compensation approach, and everything felt like it was just moving through internal circles rather than having a clear structure for salary growth.

Because of that, even though the process was generally positive on the surface, the overall feel for me stayed average. It didn’t result in an offer for me, and the lack of transparency around compensation left me with a lingering concern despite the interview going smoothly.
