Quess Singapore Software Engineer interview experience

BengaluruPosted May 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I joined an online interview on Microsoft Teams, and it started with the typical personal questions—things like strengths and weaknesses and even basic details such as where I was from.

Then the focus quickly moved into puzzles and coding.

The coding portion included screen sharing where I had to talk through my approach and keep explaining as I worked. It felt difficult mainly because I had to perform while being monitored closely, not just answer and move on.

I didn’t receive an offer. My honest reflection afterward was that the process demanded clarity under pressure; once the puzzles and coding started, there wasn’t much room to rely on general familiarity.
