My process started with a call from the hiring team about an opening for a client, but I declined because the location didn’t work for me.

What surprised me was how quickly things escalated after that—I started getting a barrage of calls, with multiple team members contacting me almost daily for about a week, all asking the same basic details again and again. Eventually I agreed after the numbers looked better than what I’d been earning, and they also mentioned a joining bonus.

I went ahead with the client interview and it went well. The next day the hiring team called back saying it was successful and that the client had given the job, and then they asked for a bunch of personal and employment documents to create a profile.
