I ran into multiple early red flags during remote outreach for a financial services position, where the details I was asked for and the lack of pay transparency made me stop quickly.

Recruiter outreach / pre-interview step — the recruiter only wanted sensitive identifiers (like SSN and visa information) to send a training packet, which felt suspicious.
Interview/job contract discussion — I was told the role paid nothing and was commission-only; they brought a contract to sign in front of me.
Request for documentation — when I asked for a copy of the contract, I wasn’t given one. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; I couldn’t trust the process and declined to proceed.
