I experienced the interview more like an orientation, where the focus was less on my fit and more on the company’s recruiting-driven approach and promotion path.

Orientation-style meeting — they asked about my education background, then spent most of the time explaining the company and what they want me to do.
Recruiting emphasis — I learned that recruiting other people and selling to friends and family would be central, and that promotion could stall if recruiting didn’t happen. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; I found the recruiting-heavy focus mismatched with being an advisor.
