In October 2017, I started down the process and later recognized it as emotional manipulation rather than a genuine path to success.

RVP-led interactions — The conversation emphasized how special I was and claimed my network would be a major advantage.
Repeated assurances — I was assured multiple times it wasn’t a pyramid scheme.
Realization and exit — After a few months, I concluded the emphasis was on leveraging connections, not helping me succeed, and I walked away. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; I left after realizing I wasn’t being supported to actually succeed.
