I went through a short, friendly process for Software Engineer that felt easy overall, with light discussion of my background and career direction.

Recruiter / hiring conversation — A quick, interactive chat with feedback-style dialogue, where I discussed my plans for the future and my interests.
Company/clients overview (within the same stage) — I also got an overview of the company and the types of clients, keeping the conversation practical and approachable.

Outcome: No offer; the takeaway is that the process emphasized conversation and fit more than hard technical evaluation.
