I had a pretty straightforward in-person interview that stayed focused on conversation and role fit.

After a back-and-forth of questions with the manager and a senior engineer, we stepped out for a tour of the shop floor. Even with the walkthrough, the whole thing only took around 2.5 hours, which made the day feel efficient and low-drama.

The interaction itself felt like normal technical and experience discussion rather than a high-pressure grilling. Overall, it was an easy process to follow because it moved directly from “talk” to “see the environment,” and nothing felt overly drawn out. I left feeling like I got a real sense of the work setting, even though I didn’t end up with an offer.
