Pratt & Whitney Software Engineer interview experience

Blacksburg, VAPosted Mar 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got an interview through a career fair at my college.

The interviewer was understanding when I told him I wasn’t interested in the position he initially offered me.

What I appreciated was that he didn’t just end things there. He took my resume and passed it along to someone who was offering a position I actually was interested in, which meant the conversation didn’t feel wasted even though the first match wasn’t right.

Difficulty-wise it was easy, and the tone was respectful and flexible. I didn’t end up with an offer, but the experience stuck with me because the interviewer handled my situation professionally.
