Pratt & Whitney Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Easy

Positive

Gainesville, FLPosted Feb 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

An interviewer called me mainly to schedule things, and then we talked a lot about his work and what I would be doing there.

The atmosphere was very relaxed, and it didn’t feel like the conversation was centered on technical problem-solving.

There weren’t many technical questions, and at the time I didn’t realize how close the process was to ending. What surprised me was that I didn’t learn until months later that I had gotten the offer.

Overall it was easy in difficulty, but the timeline and the delayed realization about the offer made it feel a bit opaque. When I eventually found out, it was unexpected compared to how informal the interview felt in the moment.
