Pony.Ai Software Engineer interview experience

We talked about my projects and dug into specific details, and then I got a coding challenge focused on finishing a queue.

They also built in time for me to ask questions afterward, and the exchange felt patient—when I asked and when the conversation turned back toward me, it didn’t feel rushed or adversarial.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but the flow was memorable because it wasn’t purely algorithm drills. It felt like they wanted both depth in my background and the ability to implement a focused data-structure task, with a quieter wrap-up conversation at the end.
