I went through a fairly direct coding-to-design sequence.

First, there was a phone interview with a coding problem. Then I moved into four rounds of virtual onsite interviews, all centered on coding and system design questions.

The range of difficulty climbed from medium up to hard, so it didn’t feel like they were easing in; it felt like they were steadily testing how I handled complexity across multiple sessions. By the time everything ended, there was no offer, and the whole journey felt challenging from start to finish.
