Spirit Lake, IAPosted Oct 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role and it was very easy technically, with a mix of friendly and intimidating vibes.

HR phone interviews — I had a phone interview with two HR representatives.
Hiring manager face-to-face — Then I met in person with the hiring manager.
Plant manager + additional HR face-to-face — I also met the plant manager and another person who seemed HR-related.
Interviewer demeanor — One interviewer didn’t introduce themself and came across as a “bad cop,” which changed the tone of the onsite.
Outcome — Outcome: No offer; despite the low technical bar, interpersonal style during onsite left an impression.
