I had a promising initial recruiter interaction for a Software Engineer role in early 2023, but the process stalled with no closure.

Recruiter screen — I had an initial screening and it went very well; the role sounded fully aligned with my background.
Hiring manager step — The recruiter told me the next step would be an interview with the hiring manager.
Follow-up gap — After that, I received no response to my email and LinkedIn messages. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the key takeaway was the process ended abruptly with clear post-screen communication issues.
