In May 2018, I experienced a thorough multi-group interview that was professional and responsive, even though the hiring manager couldn’t attend.

Multi-group interview — I went through a detailed set of interviews across groups.
Attendance change — The hiring manager couldn’t join due to travel.
HR involvement — HR was knowledgeable about the role requirements.
Facility tour — They provided a tour of the facility.
Timely feedback — They followed up in a timely manner. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that HR and overall organization were strong even with scheduling disruption.
